A backend engineer who ships to production.
I am a Java backend developer with more than five years building secure, scalable systems for enterprise, government and fintech clients. My work covers the whole lifecycle: architecture, database design, implementation, deployment and production support.
I am comfortable across the stack. Spring Boot services and Spring Security, tuned PostgreSQL, Oracle and MS-SQL schemas, Quartz automation, Jasper reporting, and Next.js front-ends built pixel-faithfully from Figma. I also have growing hands-on exposure to Kafka and RabbitMQ for asynchronous, event-driven flows.
Above all I care about code that is modular, dependable and reviewable: SOLID, DRY and KISS in practice, safe migrations, and honest documentation the next engineer can actually use.

Beyond any particular stack, what matters most is curiosity. I never step back from something new or from the harder problem, and I would rather understand a system deeply than route around it.
Experience
- Architect and ship Spring Boot services for business-critical SaaS spanning order processing, inventory, logistics and workflow automation, backed by PostgreSQL with Liquibase migrations and Dockerised deployments.
- Implemented OAuth2 authentication, fine-grained authorization, API security layers and third-party integrations to keep operations dependable and compliant.
- Built the EuroLife Next.js front-end against the Spring Boot APIs: a pixel-faithful Figma implementation with the UX/UI designer, a design-token system and reusable component primitives.
- Use Claude Code for research and refactors, accelerating exploration of unfamiliar areas and keeping larger reorganisations safe and reviewable.
- Designed scalable backend systems on Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate and PostgreSQL supporting complex enterprise operations.
- Architected relational schemas, optimised SQL and applied SOLID, DRY and KISS, using MapStruct, Liquibase, Quartz and Swagger/OpenAPI to streamline delivery.
- Owned the full SDLC: architecture, implementation, migrations, testing (JUnit, Mockito, JMeter), deployment, monitoring and continuous optimisation.
- Studied distributed-systems patterns alongside a senior engineer, building working knowledge of Kafka and RabbitMQ for asynchronous, event-driven flows.
